Assembly AGV is a chain of vehicles which are attached one behind the other carry huge loads. It can be in the form of trailers, car chassis, engines and appliances. It is the more enhanced version of tow AGV. Where in tow AGV there are only 2 - 3 tows but in assembly AGV there is a chain of platforms. Assembly Automated Guided Vehicles is the greatest development activity during the period of 1980's. Mostly there are 50 - 100 vehicles in AGV system. These assembly vehicles are automated and robotic vehicles which give a proper way to conveyance, picking and palletizing of industry materials in their respective service areas. There are many vehicles assembled in a continuous manner and so it is called assembly AGV.
