Manufacturer and Suppliers for Plastic Jars

Detailed Description for Plastic Jars

Plastic jars are manufactured for commercial usage from various types of resins. It is supplied in safe food grade approved by FDA. These materials cannot be used at temperatures above 200F. They are highly favorable due to their low cost and resistance to breakage. They are available in wide variety of sizes and shapes to suit the user needs. The bottles are recyclable.

1. High Density Polyethylene (HDPE): HDPE is a thermoplastic made from petroleum. It is a translucent chemical which turns opaque when color is added. It is known for its strength to density ratio. It is commonly used in manufacture of bottles, piping, geo-membranes and plastic lumber.

2. Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE): It is similar to HDPE in composition but less rigid. It is manufactured using a high pressure free radical polymerization process. It is not reactive at room temperatures to dilute solvents. Its density is lower due to its loosely packed molecular structure. This type of plastic is used for squeeze type of bottles.

3. Polyethylene Terephthalate  (PET): They are thermoplastic polymer resins which has excellent water and moisture barrier. Hence they are commonly used in soft drink bottles and substrate in solar films.

4. Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC): These resins are naturally clear and have good oil resistance. It comes in two basic forms- rigid and flexible. Rigid form of plastic is used in pipes, bottles and food packaging. Flexible form of plastics is used in plumbing, cable insulation, signage etc.
